Trauma Resilience in UK Policing

Our lead researcher, Dr Jess Miller, was interviewed by former policeman Dan Clark-Neal for Channel 4 Dispatches. Dan Clark-Neal investigated the rise in assaults against police officers and how do they cope with repeated traumatic events. Dr Jess Miller provided insightful answers about the long-lasting impacts on the mental health of police officers and covered some of the findings of the Research Project Trauma Resilience in UK Policing. The documentary “Officer Down – Police Under Attack” was aired on Monday 1st July at 8 pm, receiving a wide coverage on the national media.
