Trauma Resilience in UK Policing

 

UpBeat 2018 was held on March 13th at the Emirates Stadium in London. The national conference was hosted by the Police Dependants' Trust and Oscar Kilo, at which Dr Jess Miller and CEO Gill Scott-Moore spoke about progress in Trauma Resilience in UK Policing.

Dr Jess and CEO of the PDT, Gill Scott-Moore spoke about what the Trauma Resilience in UK Policing project has been finding out about post-incident trauma, how trauma management interventions are received, and how trauma exposure is experienced in high-risk roles such as SO15, Counter-Terrorism, emergency call handling, and Child Sexual Exploitation.
